Emirates’s Hubs and Destinations

Emirates is operating out of its primary hub at Dubai International Airport. The airline’s extensive global network spans 161 destinations in 85 countries across the Middle East, Asia, the Americas, Africa, Europe and the Pacific. Travel Classes by Emirates

Emirates offer three travel options to its customers. These include First Class, Business Class and Economy Class.

First Class: The travellers in the First Class cabin are offered two types of seating by Emirates. This includes a private suite with doors which close but doesn’t extend to the ceiling, and a fully enclosed suite with a ceiling to floor door. Both the types of First Class cabin ensure enhanced privacy and prominently feature fully flat bed, personal in-flight entertainment ICE system, storage, a coat rack and a mini-bar. The First Class cabin on the new Airbus A380-800 features private suites, spa, two shower-equipped lavatories, and access to the bar area and lounge. 

Business Class: Emirates’ Business Class offered on Boeing 777-300ERs and Boeing 777-200LRs prominently feature angled lie-flat beds. The seats are equipped with massage function, adjustable headrest, privacy partition, reading lights, overhead light, USB ports, in-seat power socket and a 17-inch TV screen. The Business Class on Airbus A380-800 aircrafts offer a fully flat bed and personal mini-bar.

Economy Class: The passengers travelling on Emirates’ Economy Class are offered 31 to 32 inch seat pitch on Airbus aircrafts and 34 inch seat pitch on Boeing aircrafts (except on Boeing 777 fleet). Amenities offered in Economy Class include in-seat laptop power outlets, a 3000 channel ICE In-Flight-Entertainment and adjustable headrests. However, the Economy Class seats on Airbus A380 have additional recline.

Online check-in means you can check-in for your Emirates flight through the airline’s website before your arrival at the airport. It is done to save time and chaos at the airport. You can do online check-in 48 hours before scheduled departure time of your flight. The online check-in closes 90 minutes before scheduled departure.

Most of your personal electronic devices can be used on Emirates flight. These include mobile phones, tablets and E-readers (when switched to flight mode only). Apart from these, you can also use MP3 players, Portable DVD players, laptops, notebooks and personal medical devices.

Wi-Fi is available on all Emirates flights. The service can however not be guaranteed due to the possibility of technical issues. You can check the availability of Wi-Fi on a particular flight by using Emirates’ flight service finder tool.

The eBoarding Pass offered by Emirates is similar to the boarding pass provided to the travellers at airport check-in counters. The eBoarding Pass includes flight details and seating assignment. The eBoarding Pass is received by the traveller during online check-in. You can take a printout of your eBoarding Pass and present it at the Bag Drop counter when checking your baggage or proceed to your Boarding Gate. If you are however not able to take a printout of your eBoarding Pass then it can be also done at the Self Check-in kiosks in Dubai International Airport or at any Emirates Check-in counter. The eBoarding Passes are now being provided at selected departure cities for saving time.
