Delta Airlines is gearing up to launch a new long-haul route, enhancing its international offerings in 2025. This new service will connect Boston with São Paulo, Brazil, starting January 6, 2025. Delta is adding this route as part of its strategy to expand its European network, having introduced seven new routes just last month.
According to the latest update from Cirium Diio, flights from Boston to São Paulo will run three times a week using an Airbus A330-300. This new route will replace LATAM’s existing service, as confirmed by airline insider JonNYC.
A Delta spokesperson stated, “From January 6 to March 27, 2025, Delta will operate flights between Boston and São Paulo-Guarulhos.” They assured that customers with tickets on LATAM will be automatically rebooked onto Delta flights without changing their original departure dates.
Outbound flights will depart Boston on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 9:00 a.m., landing in São Paulo at 8:45 p.m. Return flights will leave São Paulo at 10:45 p.m. and arrive back in Boston at 6:40 a.m. the following day. Initially, the service will run from January to March, but it adds to Delta’s existing connections to São Paulo from its hubs in Atlanta and New York-JFK.
This new route reflects Delta's strategy to strengthen its international presence while providing more travel options for its customers.
