American Airlines New Austin Routes
American Airlines new Austin routes are all set to start in three phases this year. 14 new non-stop routes are being added to its network by American Airlines. Apart from the new routes, the carrier is also expanding services of a few old flights ‘to’ and ‘from’ Austin. This is big news for those who have been traveling ‘to’ and ‘from’ the Austin area. The carrier is all set to start new flight services from September 8 this year. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport will get a boost by increasing the number of direct flights ‘to’ and ‘from’ this airport. American Airlines considers Austin as a ‘focused city’
10 out of 14 routes will be American Airlines domestic flights and the remaining four are American Airlines international flights. The expansion of routes to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport will take place between September 8 and November 2.
American Airlines New Domestic Routes from Austin
There will be 10 new domestic routes in total for passengers from Austin. Here are details of all domestic routes which are supposed to be included in the new expansion by the airline.
From Austin, AUS to Cincinnati, CVG: Flights from Austin to CVG will start from September 8. The frequency of flights to this route will be twice daily.
From Austin to El Paso, ELP: Flights to this route will be available with a frequency of thrice a day. Service to this route will start on September 8, next on October 7 and the last one will start on November 2.
From Austin to Indianapolis, IND: American Airlines flights to Indianapolis will start from September 8. The next service to this route will be available from October 7, and the frequency will be twice a day.
From Austin to Jacksonville, JAX: American Airlines flights from Austin to JAX will start from September 8 on a daily basis.
From Austin to Kansas City, MCI: Flights to Kansas City from Austin will start from September 8. The 2nd service to this route will start from Nov 2. The frequency of flights to this route will be twice daily.
From Austin to Oklahoma City, OKC: American Airlines flights to Oklahoma City will start from October 7 on a daily basis.
From Austin to Reno, RNO: From September 8, you will be able to get flight service to this route on a daily basis.
From Austin to San Juan, SJU: New American Airlines flights to San Juan, from Austin will be operational from October 7 on a daily basis service.
From Austin to St. Louis, STL: American Airlines flights to St. Louis will start from September 8. The next service to this route will be available from October 7. The frequency of flights on this route will be twice daily.
And the last segment in these newly added routes by American Airlines is AUS-TUL, Austin to Tulsa. The service to this route is scheduled to begin from November 2, on a daily basis.
American Airlines New International Routes from Austin
Austin, AUS is getting boosted by the carrier not only for expanding domestic flight services, but the carrier is also adding a few international routes as well from Austin. Here is a list of American Airlines international routes which are supposed to be added to the list of new routes expansion by American Airlines.
From Austin to Cancun, CUN: American flights to Cancun are supposed to be started from November 2. The service to this international route will be available four days a week. You can get flight service on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
From Austin to Liberia, Costa Rica, LIR: Flight service to LIR from AUS will be available 3 days a week starting from November 2. You can get flight services on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
From Austin to Puerto Vallarta, PVR: Flight service between these two airports will start from October 7. You can get service to this route 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
From Austin to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, PUJ: With service four days a week, this international route is supposed to be operational from November 2. You can get services on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays every week.
American Airlines Seasonal Service Conversion
Apart from the above addition, American Airlines is also converting these two summer seasonal services to year-round services.
From Austin to Nassau, Bahamas, NAS: From November 2, this route is going to be a year-round service by American Airlines. Service will be available 4 days a week, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
From Austin to Las Cabos, SJD: Service to this route is going to turn to year-round service from October 7. Service will be available 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
